day 3
10th march:

ok. rise and shine. SOK KHOONG SLEEPS REALLY LONG! and lynn's hair is funky when she wakes up. haha! then we went to 106 and 107 to wake some people up. HARHAR! i saw my mortal! she didnt recognise me. she doesnt even know who i am! anyway, went back to class to brush teeth and wash up, then assemble back in quad for flag raising. then go back to class to prepare for drama!

but the preparation was crap. cause people were shouting everywhere, then some people were playing cards and not bothered at all, then some other people just didnt want to care. so sarah suggested a thrash talk to throw all our fan2 nao3 out. so we sat in a circle and started talking lah.

eh how to phrase this.

at first only jomain, eva, weiyi, sheena, sarah, liuyi and lydia were doing all the talking lah. i think the others (LIKE ME!) is not dont have stuff to say, it's just either dont know how, dont want, or dont dare to say. but actually for me it's dont dare to say. cause most of the time i dont usually express my thoughts clearly and im not used to talking to people about what i feel.

so when it was my turn, i was super super scared. and i really felt like crying. i was almost tearing half the time i was talking lorh. and when i said: "207, we can do this." i almost broke down. and i think many others started to cry also lah.

then when everybody had their say, there was no time for drama le. so eva suggested that we "perform" the thrash talk on stage and that's what we agreed on. then er i thin sarah suggested that we dont sit with our cliques but mix instead. so i sat with joey and debbie.

in the audi we were all very scared and nervous lorh. the other classes performances were superb. then debbie said that when i said "207, we can do this," she was crying. and then wenqi started to cry in the audi. then yiwei started to cry. then liuyi who was sitting beside yi wei started to tear also. then the person whom was sitting in front of liuyi, i forgot who, started to cry also. i got very shocked lah. it's the first time i see just a simple sentence like that touching people's hearts.

then when it was our turn to perform, we went backstage and when onstage. so we performed the thrash talk! then since our performance was the last one, we went straight back to the audi after performance. and you know what gary tang said?

"eh... the last class that performed? 207? ah ya. i just wanted to say that i almost wanted to give you full marks for your performace. ALMOST. cause you said it was real. it looked so real YET so fake. cause it's like your words just come out so naturally that it looks so real YET so fake. good job done!"

our class won the prizes for the best activity (MOVIES!) and some other prize but i forgot. then we went back to class to pack up and fen1 prizes and stuff. then WEIYI started the game of pulling pants! then she ALMOST pulled of ms chng's pants once lorh! then the whole class was cheering and screaming and shouting and everyone ended up using their hands to pull UP their own pants. super funny lah. like that is the 207 POSE. wow wow wow!

then we went back to canteen and had our debrief for the camp. the teachers said that we were one of the best sec 2 batch and TREATED WITH ICE CREM! then ms koh break camp from there. then we went around to clean the canteen and stuff. then we went to kap to have a CLASS LUNCH. waha!

then we went home.

then that night we went for alibaba at kallang theatre. and MOST of us wore skirts! sheena looks nice in that outfit lorh. and SARAH! FIRST TIME I SEE HER WEAR SKIRT! very nice what!

9th March:
Attire: P.E. tee plus berms.

rise and shine at 5. awaken by our class's noise. like people whispering and stuff. then i saw that lynn was awake. sok and liuyi still sleeping. but after a short while liuyi woke up. then lynn said that liuyi looked like a china by when she's sleepy. it's like her face is very pale, then her eyes got that blur blur look. haha! so cute! eening said that she mistook a bag for my head last night. she was like wave and wave and wave. then she thought i dao-ed her. then she took a closer look. it was the bag. ): my head turned into a bag! tianhui was worse. she put her whole leg on wenqi. poor wenqi!

then we went to brush teeth and went down for assembly.

then lunch! then we went back to prepare for drama. but TO NO AVAIL.

then this is the part where i saw the true colours of my classmates.

first station: put your foot into the muddywater filled with leaves and stuff and get marbles with only your legs!

so people like eva, weiyi, sarah all started to take out their shoes and put their foot in. then the quadrangle floor was super hot due to the sunshine and people were jumping up and down. and i was hocked when i saw people like liwen, joey and clara putting their feet into the muddy water before i did lorh. they were like readily put in their feet into the muddy waters. i was like, omg. is that really liwen? liwen leh. liwen who normally doesnt even allow me and eva to touch her stuff cause we are dirty. koh liwen! i was so shocked! but this proves that people act differently under forced circumstances.

then we had to find stuff in balloons and poke them. then the 3rd station was crawling under tables blindfolded.

and the last task! it wasnt meant for us to know it was a task lah. but raash accidentally told us! so they caught sue sin and capture her. LOST! we had to find her lah. so we broke off into our star groups and ran off to look for her. in the end who found sue sin?

i was very amazed lah. sheena said that it was liwen and clara who found suesin. and you know what? suesin was in the dance studio toilet. the toilet was said to be super creepy lah. estella and joey who were with them backed out but liwen and clara went in together. normally clara is like super afraid of ghosts lorh. i finally saw that people act different under pressure. and i saw clara grew up.

i feel old. );

then hern hern took us for debreif. (: debreif was funny.

then we went to bathe! and me, lynn, tianhui and people were queuing outside the toilet on the 3rd floor.

and you know what?

IT RAINED!

we were all super dissappointed cause we wanted to watch movie and sleep under the stars that night. but the rain stopped when we finished bathing. then lynn and i saw people helping to dry off the quad. so lynn shouted to ms koh if we could help. she said to get rags. so we got rags. and i screamed to 207 to get down and clean the quad. so we ran down and clean the quad.

we mop mop mop with rags and scrapers and brooms and mops and even newspapers. the small crowd working to dry of the quad soon became the whole sec 2 cohort 2006. and when the teachers saw us they were really touched. so they started taking pictures of us being cinderellas. erms :/

so eventually we managed to dry the whole quad and the whole sec 2 cohort was cheering. then since 207 was in charge of movies, we went to the canteen to help move benches to the quad for parents and teachers to sit. liu, ee, jo and shena were helping 2 other 203 people to set up the big big screen and when they finally completed the task, they were so happy they just hugged each other and the 203 people cried. well done sec 2s!

then i was shocked again, to see clara and liwen carrying heavy benches from the canteen. clara, being so small sized couldnt take the weight so i helped her instead. but eva wanted to help liwen and liwen refused. and she carried it all the way from the canteen to the quad. i was super shocked. cause she's very lady-like and si1 wen2 and wen1 rou2 so i thought she couldnt manage this type of hard work. but she did it! well done liwen! ((:

then we sat down for dinner. eat eat eat. 208 provided us with candles(: candlelight dinner. haha!

then movies! me, zihui, liuyi, lynn, ee, sok bernice, shena all went to usher. then i ushered a number of families and one of them was shi hui's family. i didnt even know lah. o.O

then we went back to watch the return of the titans. the audience very funny lah. should laugh never laugh. and when titans scored a goal, the audience will cheer. it was like watching a live football match lah. (: yay. i love the audience. and then 207 had a huge amount of space for us to lie down at the back. then me and sok were lying down to count the stars. (:

then went to 211 for debreif! they had to do a short skit lah. then they act until super funny lorh. haha. yay. (: then when we gave out the prizes, they all shared the prizes lah. like this depicts teamwork. yay! (:

then after that, we went back to homeroom and brush teeth and bring our sleeping bags down to the quad. and we arranged our sleeping bags nicely according to classes. (: i slept next to liuyi and wenqi. then it was super funny lah. 11 o'clock lights out but eva, sarah and weiyi they all havent sleep yet. then they were talking talking talking and laughing. then ms ong came and say: "you guys still dont sleep go and run around the quad arh."

sarah, eva, weiyi: -sits up immediately- "OKAY OKAY OKAY! I WANT!!!!"

ms ong: "20 rounds arh!"

sarh, eva, weiyi: "OKAY!"

then they ran one round around the quad and then ms ong thought that the punishment was too light for them so she asked them to stay in push-up position instead. cause eva and weiyi got back problem. so it might be more painful. but then in the end they came back to sleep and eva was like: "wah now very hot leh. can dont sleep inside the sleepig bag?"

ms chua: "no. must sleep inside."

eva: "why? very hot!"

ms chua: "because of security reasons."

8th March:
Attire: Camp Tee and Track Pants
arrived in school LATE. like sheep. nvm. then i got our class tee. it looks WRONG. ): but i like the dinosaur. (: ms chng was like: "look at your class tee! heehee!" erms. :/

set off for botanic gardens. ruimin was our class IC. then we were cheering chatting and singing on the bus. super noisy. waha. then amzing race was quite fun BUT TIRING! we're were like run from here to there, from one end of botanic gardens to the other end of botanic gardens. and BOTANIC GARDENS IS SERIOUSLY BIG. then liuyi cannot run cause she had stich. so i was like, run run run, stop, wait for liuyi, walk, run run run. gaah. then we sort of got lost for one of the stations, but for the first few stations, we did rather well. (: yay! 207!

then after amazing race (held by 209 and 206), we went to the symphony pond to have lunch. liuyi became vegetarian. o.O jomain became my fan4 tong3 and helped me eat finish my lunch. i wasnt really hungry. yay! then when we wanted to go back to school, the bus decided not to come. so we started cheering and singing.

waha. yay. mrs koh thought we were crazy. aha! then when the bus finally came, we shared bus with 209. then we were talking talking talking. then when we went back to our homeroom (202's classroom) we changed and we went to boardroom with 203 and discuss about the movies. then we went for telematch! (held by 211 and 201) although we got fourth but we really tried our best. then we were this close to completing the tasks. haiz.

then we went back and talked about the debrief for the movies. then we were thinking about talking about movies, then go and bathe then talk about drama which was NOT following the given schedule. so we went to ask ms yeo but she said she wasnt in charge so we asked 204. but they said can. so we went ahead to bathe.

lynn suggested that people who had to go to set up the movie playing go and bathe first. long haired people used the shower rooms, menses people used the toilets with drained and short haired people used the other available bathrooms. but in the end, all of us got fed up and we just used any available rooms. yenjin, sarah, eva and weiyi were outside helping us to fill bottles and washing the toilet. and they were in bras. weiyi or yenjin was like: "hey people, when you guys come out dont scream hor." then alot of people thought yenjin was naked lah. then i helped to roll in all the bottles and fill up bottles and stuff. i think 204 had a good idea for the bottle thing. it's much easier if we had not enough water to bathe. then sarah was trying to wash her hair in the basin. then eva was like: "walao. sarah you suck lah. so lousy. like that also dunno." then sarah was like: "i never try before what! " haha. so funny.

then suddenly when eva was bathing, ms yeo came in and shouted at us lah. she was like: "who gave you the permission to come in and bathe first? when i said no means no. dont you understand??" then we were quite shocked lah. then she left and came back to ask us all to get out after bathing.

so sarah thought that we were definitely in for trouble so she called the whole class together and talked about how to apologise to ms yeo. then we were like talking talking talking and ms yeo was scolding 208 next door for bathing before the scheduled time too. then we talk talk talk and in the end, she never come in and scold us. -.-

then we went down for dinner! joamin refused to be my fan4 tong3 again so i threw away food. ): wasted. but i really cannot eat! too full! then we finish dinner and rush up to our LT and got ready for movies.

it was a total mess lah. like people dunno where to go then they want to come in and anyhow sit but we told them cannot. and when all of them finally came in, they were super nopisy and mrs koh ended up shouting at the whole sec 2 cohort, when we, as her form class, have never seen her shouting before. we were all super stumped lah. then we tried to get the sec 2s to settle down. then we had little time for the movie. but when the screened bring it on, the audience really enjoyed it. they were like laughing and clapping and cheering and all of that just encouraged us and lightened our spirits. but some of them didnt really like it when we had to skip some parts and fast forward it lah. i think sheena and eva did a good job as commenting on all the parts. (:

then after the movie, me, sarah, rensyn and sok went to 211 to do debreif. but it was horrible. they were suppose to do a debate on why cheating is no good but in the end, they did a debate on WHAT IS CHEATING. errrr. sarah was like: "sidetrack! sidetrack!" haha. but 211 people are fun people lah. they very funny.

then we went back to our homeroom and had a debreif ourselves. mrs koh told us that we asked for permission. so had 208 but they had no reason to like bathe earlier. we had cause we had to screen the movie. then after seeing that we could bathe earlier, 211 went to bathe without permission. so ms yeo was angry with us lah. then we all did reflections on the days events, bring teeth and went to sleep. i slept next to liuyi and liuyi was like doing PT and i was doing with her. sok slept really fast lorh. then liuyi tried to sleep. i kept sitting up and lying down so liuyi kept sleeping and waking up. then clara screamed lorh. cause there were sec 1s outside our classrooms WITH THEIR HAIR LET DOWN OVER THE FACE. stupid lah. trying to act ghost. then got some people like sheena weiyi yanjin eva joey and liwen talking about GREGORY GOH all night. sigh.

im back from camp and i feel so emotional.

i find 207 ppl veri real.as in they show their real emotions and their actions are really sincere...out of kindness?? dun feel the hypocritness within them...for example someone is suddenly nice to me i will get veri scared and think...what do u wan from me har?? but for them i dun even think of it. i feel the sincerity in them i feel the truthness. the kao de zhu de feeling. even between cliques in 209 sometimes it seems fake?? i dunno ba may be they are happy as it is then fine lo. will i become like tt one dae too??? always thinking deeper and doubting someone because of too much hypocritness??some ppl can turn here tell u something and turn back tell another person another version of the story she just told u...leaving u blank and wondering what is true. i doubt some ppl greatly. their sudden warmness. their actions. them.


somehow i agree with her. i think she only saw the better side of our class lah. like in our class also got alot of cliques, then sometimes in the cliques they also dont like this girl that girl. haiz. then it's like some people dont even feel like 207 is their class. some people hate this girl hate that girl. haiya. i just dont know lah. i dont even know why im posting this lorh. i just hope that from this i can learn to appreciate my classmates more and hope that we can become the one united seveners class again from life skills camp.

(woah) ya. then jasmine told the drink stall auntie that i ai4 lian4 ta1 for very long already. WALIAO. JASMINE WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM. YOU LES I STRAIGHT CAN? YOUR DESKMATE YOUR WIFE LIAO LAH. pffffffft.

yes. now for my testimonials from my juniors.

-Siew Ying-

Yeujia: Siew Ying on first looked ‘dao’ and unfriendly. However, after a few PSGL sessions, I realized that Siew Ying is friendly and fun. During PSGL sessions, she likes to crack jokes, which livens up the atmosphere. She is quite crappy too, and talks about nonsensical things, but that made the PSGL sessions fun! It also made it more relaxed and not so much like a lesson. Siew Ying is caring too and asks us questions like how our school life is so far. Also, I think that she and Patricia make a very good pair. While Patricia is the more outspoken one and the one who leads the session, Siew Ying jokes around and makes the session more fun. They are like salt and pepper and I think that Siew Ying did a great job as a PSGL! :)

Chun Hui: When I first saw Siew Ying, I thought she was a very proud person, as she looked that way. She was also very quiet. However, I was wrong. After I got to know her, I found out she wasn’t proud at all. She was friendly and liked to joke. Her jokes liven up the meetings and so they wouldn’t be boring and we’d enjoy them. She shared her own experiences with us and we learnt what to expect in school. I enjoyed the PSGL sessions as we would learn something new. Siew Ying was also in band, the CCA I was aiming for, and I could ask questions about band and she helped me with my questions. Siew Ying is a great PSGL!

Zi Tian: Siew Ying and Patricia were very good to us. They taught us many things like what we should do or should not do in school, the school rules etc. they also taught us how to deal with problems like coping with school work. They also tried their best to make the PSGL sessions more interesting for us by playing more games with us and telling us interesting that happened to them before. Sometimes, they also combined the PSGL sessions with other groups and let us do the activities with our friends from other groups. They were really good “big sisters” and role models for us!

Shirlynn: Siew Ying is also fun-loving and optimistic PSGL. However, she seldom some and “visit” us, to remind us of upcoming PSGL sessions, maybe, she was too busy with her school work……Compared to Patricia, Siew Ying more serious during PSGL sessions. Similarly, Siew Ying is also very supportive of us. Both Siew Ying and Patricia would always say to us, “Must be enthusiastic, ok?” which is their standard line……J Overall, both Patricia and Siew Ying did a good job as a PSGLover the last 7 weeks!!!

Shermaine: Patricia and Siew Ying are very helpful and kind. They are also very friendly. They also try to make effort to communicate with us. They treat us very well. Although sometimes the lessons are a bit boring, I still enjoy the PSGL lessons.

: The PSGL meetings were very enjoyable and the PSGLs were very encouraging. They helped us to adapt to the surroundings when we were new in Nanyang. It was very motivating and we eventually got used to the environment. The PSGLs got us to know each other and to introduce ourselves. They showed us around the school and gave us some advice on the rules and regulations of the school. On the whole, the session was beneficial to us and helped us a lot during this period of time.


i forgot who was the last person. anyway.
